The guys over at 9to5Mac have been on fire recently and have uncovered Apple websiteâs search as a loophole to uncover the private URLs for new products. So far theyâve uncovered the iPhone 5 name showing in the search results (so itâll be iPhone 5 after all!), an LTE page for iPhone, new iPod Touch and Nano pages as well as iTunes update.
The iTunes update seems to be a minor one, 10.7, with a major update, version 11, scheduled for October. Â All products, including the new iPhone 5, iPod Touch and Nano are to be announced in an hour during the Apple event. An iPad Mini has been rumoured for ages as well so we did a search for that as well.
But no signs of an iPad Mini so far.

It’s great that the new iPhone 5 comes with LTE, but with how LTE saps data and battery, I can’t say it is worth the price. In some areas, like where I live, T-Mobile’s network is faster than Verizon’s. I bought the T-Mobile Galaxy SIII with the unlimited data plan, and I get faster service than my DISH coworker who has an LTE phone. We use the DISH Remote Access app on our phones to stream live and recorded TV using the Sling Adapter that’s connected to our own receivers. It’s amazing how much his phone buffers while mine strolls along just fine. I’m just glad that I don’t have to worry about missing my shows or going over my data.
ReplyDeleteApple has introduced a lot of technological advanced gadgets in last few years but I love to use iPod along with different stylish ipod cases the most.
